Title: Solar Electrician Location: Mississauga, Ontario Type: Full-Time
CMI Solar, a premier provider of solar energy solutions, is seeking an experienced and motivated Solar Electrician to join our team. The Solar Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar energy systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters, and battery storage systems.
- Work with a team to ensure safe and efficient installation of solar energy systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with solar energy systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Complete required documentation and reporting for each project.
Qualifications:
- A Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent, with a strong background in electrical systems and safety regulations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience installing solar energy systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within GTA.
